We are excited to announce that our new short film, hemtjänst.majd.undersöker, directed by Samori Tovatt and Leandro Netzell, is selected at the Nordic Film Days in Lübeck in November, in the section: Where to Put the Old?
They describe it as follows:
Caregiver Majd is outraged that the municipality is planning to spend tax revenues on re-opening the Folkets Hus – The People’s House – instead of improving the health care system. He simply doesn’t consider culture a priority. Armed with just his smartphone, he explores the mood in the town as a citizen journalist and realizes that solutions aren’t found in opposition, but in cooperation.
