After the municipality's decision to save the local community center from bankruptcy, Majd, a nursing assistant, decides to investigate how people think our tax money should be allocated. Using his phone as a camera, he tries to bring attention to healthcare issues in his improvised role as a social commentator, while also being challenged in his views on what is needed to build a prosperous and functioning society.

Maj & Majd

A fish sings "Don't worry be happy" and the TV character Alf protects against ghosts in a film that, with small gestures and a big heart, portrays the meeting between the retiree Maj and Majd from home care. It's about loneliness and our need for closeness and contact.
